What a great tribute to Queen, esp Freddie and also the wonderful Live Aid world event of 1985. The only film in forty years and hundreds of films that I went to the theatre twice to see, so that is how good it is. Golden Globe winner and soon to be Oscar winner? Hope so. 10/10

Wow, this one sure lacked the suspense and desperation that Shyamalan found in Split for the locked up captives. This time the bulk of the movie was in a psychiatric facility so felt like 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest" for the greater part. Glass even threatened with some form of brain surgery as Jack Nickolson was in that film. There was 4 captive girls at the beginning but unlike Split , their capture and sheer terror was not exploited at all unfortunately. They disappeared and up popped Anya Taylor-Joy's character whom miraculously just survived in Split and was Amazingly, and belief defying, allowed to visit and touch the Beast? so much for her rehabilitation after that traumatic and suspenseful "Split" encounter. The poor night staff at the facility were always on a hiding to nothing so a couple of brutal deaths there. Riot police attempting to subdue our heroes towards the end until a sniper turned up. bit anti-climatic if anything.Why didn't super strong Bruce just break out earlier? 5/10

Critics have panned this film brutally but think they have missed the point. Many were struggling to see the plot. Mainly it is to follow your dreams and things can change suddenly but you move on. Such as the death in Noah's family. Penny may of moved on a little to quickly with her romance/ sex life but not a lot of time to work with in the movie. The budding musician , the artist cousin were shown to achieve by the end of the film by sticking at it. BTW the narration was terrible and unneeded so that did not help the film find it's feet at all. They won't do that next time. 4/10

Excellent thriller as kept you watching and yelling at the screen right through to try and help the girls escape. Builds up to a great scene towards the end with a "the Shining" sort of moment with James McAvoy playing an amazing role / roles in this film that really kept you guessing which split was coming next, right through the movie. Very well directed and A+ for the acting.

Is hard to understand how the genetic engineering instilled such violent and effective reactions in the protagonists. Credibility is stretched with a seemingly lethal impaling in one scene and back to combat without effect from the injury in the next. Overall a good concept demonstrating a frightening future with genetic creations that go on their own merry way without human controls/ emotions.
