I love this book. As other reviewers have said, I think this book has held up very well in the political and current climate of today. Many of the characters are female, and actually, females are highly sought after in certain cultures as leadership roles within the story. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this book and am impressed with the timelessness of if. Thinking it was written in the 80’s as well, it blows my mind that Herbert wrote this in the 60’s and that it holds up so well today. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape the constant struggles of 2020. This book will challenge you, engage you, and help you see a reality far different and unique.
