I have read the reviews of movie critics and just regular people who enjoy watching movies and i am dissatisfied in the small mindedness some of these reviews have. if you actually break down the movie and leave some things to your imagination there really aren’t a lot of plot holes like some people are saying. spoiler alert but this came out quite some time ago so i don’t really care but the reason red is the only one who can talk and why they waited so long to come out of the tunnels is because she was human. the others can’t talk because they are not educated. they hold hands at the end of the film because of hands across america being a huge symbolic piece of the film. they eat the rabbits because rabbits are very fast to repopulate being a easy source of food. do you really care where the scissors came from or can you just enjoy a very clearly fictional movie. those are just examples of what i saw people complaining about in this film but most of the people saying this could not fathom to come up with a concept this wild and thought provoking even in their wildest dreams. so your complaints are invalid. in my own opinion i believe if you are able to appreciate the fact that it is just a movie and that there is no reasonable way to make the plot realistic then you will like the movie for what it is and enjoy it. i myself have seen it more than 5 times and feel that i find out something new and interesting every time i rewatch it. i do suggest this movie to anyone who likes to think about what they are watching and who doesn’t just want the answers handed to them.
