The negatives • Writing, directing and editing didn’t mesh well at times. • Because of this, it was difficult to become invested in any of the characters. • The acting was a little off at times but it may have something to do with script/lack of direction. • Hated the sing song areas of the show, felt completely out of place. • Wanting to enjoy this as it touches upon subjects important to me, I disliked the delivery. • Aesthetically unrealistic and lacked true grit of the scene. The Positives • Entry level appropriate for people wanting to have a better understanding of these themes. However, one-sided. • Great to see a variety of actor profiles on popular television. Spreads a good message, I could see them playing a variety themselves. • Touches upon an important part of recent history. • Loved the soundtrack 😉
