I absolutely loved this movie, and especially that it took place on Halloween in the story because I also love Halloween. I know there's at least one other Scooby-Doo movie that takes place on Halloween night which would be Scooby-Doo! and the Goblin King, which I would also highly recommend. The more the merrier, right? I immensely appreciated that they kept some of the traditional things like Fred's love of traps and love of the The Mystery Machine and just the same good old Mystery Machine to begin with. (I was upset of the injustice to The Mystery Machine in SCOOB!, although otherwise that was a good movie too.) I have to admit that I also enjoyed the more familiar similarities like the animation and voice actors and characters, although every now and then it's nice to see something different (like in SCOOB!). What else is there to say? I liked how Elvira was in it who came from Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island, and that Bill Nye was also in it added a fun twist. Scooby and Shaggy were as silly and lovable as ever, I mean come on they were spilled candy for their Halloween costume-INGENIOUS! Daphne was a bit odd at times but I thought that added to the movie in a good way. Fred like I said earlier was pretty much the same with his love of traps and his "girl" (not Daphne but The Mystery Machine lol, although I think they may have liked each other a bit in this one too). Velma, well she's Velma, she cares a lot for her friends and always sees by the end that there's no one she'd rather have by her side. Together they're the Scooby-Gang and I hope their legacy lives on forever because I can't think of any fictional group of characters I cherish more.
