It’s about tension between beliefs against premarital sex and beliefs in the assumption of consensual sex. In this story, the woman has strong beliefs, partly unconscious, that premarital sex is exploitative and deserves to be avenged. The man seduced the women and then disbelieved her accusation of rape. He does not address the aim of marriage. The movie contains several images and scenes of marital and extra-marital interactions.
