(No Spoilers) Most of the 1 star reviews are from people that didn’t even play the game. It’s an amazing game through and through. Amazing storytelling. The fact that I’m able to empathize with someone who seemed like a truly evil person says everything. All of the characters are instantly likable. More so than the first game. There’s a (logical) weakness in Joel and Ellie that grew from living in a large community, and it shows. It’s realism. It needs to be there. It wouldn’t make sense if it wasn’t. Naughty Dog covers every base when it comes to why some characters feel the way they do. Telling the story in an exciting way of going back and forth is the timeline. My only gripe is I didn’t get to play enough as certain characters. Mainly before the main plot starts. But that’s just story building, my own opinion on the direction of the game, so doesn’t weigh in on a rating. You can feel all the love and work that was put into this experience. Solid 9.7/10
