I’ve been playing the Call of Duty series since Call of duty 3 (so 13 years or so). This is one of my favorite ones for a number of reasons.
1. The graphics are insane. It looks so real that it kind of freaks me out at times when the character looks at you.
2. Campaign looks and seems amazing. Haven’t finished it, just started it, and it’s definitely one I’m going to play and finish and I never do that with games I play. The story, characters and feel to it is something else. Last time I finished a campaign was Cod 4 Modern Warfare.
3. Multiplayer. There’s some really really fun and different game modes than what I’ve played in the other Cods. The 2v2 mode is one of my favorite to play with my buddy. This is definitely a mode I could see pro’s going at it in tournaments. Cool mini maps and fun use of different guns. The gameplay runs really smooth as well. Maneuvering, shooting, wall mantling (Or whatever it’s called), all feels smooth. Another thing I love that I don’t think gets enough credit is the sounds. The sounds of the guns, the sounds of the characters in game yelling, and the footsteps. The is one of the first Cods where I’m actually listening for footsteps which is something that should have been implemented way before. I do want to mention that the multiplayer gameplay is very different though. You can’t just run around the whole time killing players like the previous Cods or you’ll die really really fast and often. These maps I feel are designed for more strategic play rather than freely running around fast pace play. So there is camping, there is holding down spots/corners but I’ve learned to adapt after the first day of playing and i don’t have a problem at all with it.
