A little confusing at first, still not sure why I wasn't able to get to level 2 for the longest time, but well worth the struggle. Once you get a handle on it, it is a really fun game. I play with my 4 year old, and he can button mash to his hearts content, so long as he lets me set up his defenses, and start him off in the path of our enemies. ๐
