Snow covering the flowering shafts of rhubarb is a fair indication of my thoughts. In terms of ethnic diversity - is this one of those that is trying to tick the boxes?... I don't know what to think?...I am absolutely not against any experimentation across literature or film, but there are some reality checks that need to be observed if you want to be true to the era. Are we supposed to ignore what would have been reality? we are trying to love it. Not happening yet. :-(
