I loved Nadine’s story. It was at times laugh-out-loud funny and at others incredibly moving. I enjoyed the pace of the novel, the settings - especially the McIver’s Ladies Baths that plays a central part in the story and which is the only ocean pool in Australia legally restricted to women and children - and I found the characters well depicted. The story is essentially about grief and healing, based on Nadine’s own experiences. Highly recommend
