The one star is for the amazing acting of Christian Bale -otherwise this movie suffers from lazy skirt-tale riding blah. Plot holes, issues with story telling, action scenes are flat, and all the oxygen is taken out of the room by the need for excessive after school special type moments of getting issues talked about that find no base for appropriateness leaving it cheesy. The humor is rushed at times just stupid and if I’m being honest I asked myself if the writers and editors were drunk or stoned the whole time. - Jane love and Thunder was a blunder - I love the comic book take on this story and MCU failed to deliver it appropriately. Several scenes felt like the actors had no script and were just hanging out - it lacked depth and heart and no one was in charge- they even killed Zeus- the characters personalities were blended, lost in a haze of bad comedic writing that the lines were interchangeable loosing the unique character development we are used to. - the only stand out was Christian Bale and he is the only thing worth praising about this film.
