Slow. So painfully slow, I couldn't take more than 15 minutes. I kept waiting for the plot to appear. Apparently a social commentary film.

One of the better crafted movies I've ever seen. One of only a handful of movies I've seen in 60 years I'd rate an A. A solid A. Brilliantly written, directed, and acted.

Some parts of the movie seem very formulaic and cliche. They were uninteresting enough to where I popped out of the movie mentally and started thinking about things I needed to get done the next day. Other pieces were stunning and very well written. Overall, it was not as tight and compelling as the recent Top Gun, for example. The good parts were so good, the overall grade comes in at a B or B+. This is the kind of movie you could watch at home and occasionally pause it to get up to go do something else, and still be very happy you watched it.
