Antebellum as a movie I think gave a reality check to those of us who are so wrapped up in the fast pace of everyday living, and a wake up call to those who either try to deny/ignore how the world really is. It seems based on reviews given, the reviewers were those who deny/ignore reality and the real monster/s that still roam the earth.
