The movie went from wanting to make a point about freewill and how we shouldn't be fed lies to blind ourselves from a dying world, To just turning into Bruce Campbell Touture porn. Other then that if you like movies with dark and brutal scenes that make you feel empty inside. This is the movie for you, even with its lack of consistency it still has some very entertaining and very messed up scenes. If you like old 80s/90s B-plot movie with cool particular effects you'll love it. But If you're trying to watch it as a actual movie with plot and meaning you might as well turn away and find something else better to watch. Fun movie, but you will feel very empty after watching it.

This movie was very unique for a 1979s horror movie and It probably has the best camera work I've seen for a movie of its time. This movie does a great job of making you feel unsettled by its atmosphere. I wouldn't go out of my way to say it's a masterpiece, But If you're a big fan of movies like Texas chainsaw Massacre & The 1st Halloween you'll love this movie.

If you're a super natural fan I guarantee you will love this movie. I Wouldn't be suprised If they took inspiration from this movie
