I was not even half way through the first episode and just couldn't watch it anymore. It was disgustingly convenient propaganda for this time right now and not an accurate representation of history. I knew Netlix had sold its soul but I was really hoping it would keep track with actual history and not history that was written by the victors.. The only redeeming quality I was hanging onto was some of the REAL footage that was was cleaned and upscaled. When I decided to walk away I was very happy to see that the majority seen exactly what I had seen. I've studied all wars but nothing more than ww2. I've been to German not as a tourist but a guest. Stayed at the Zum Turken and toured the berghof site in berchtesgaden. Went to Dachau in Munich.. I made sure engaged in conversation and more than I expected either were ww2 vets or close enough in age that they were children of ww2 vets. Unanimously it was always the same.. Malarkey!!! It's not what history has taught any of us. Even the younger generations would hear me speak English because again I was in Biberach. Not a tourist trap. They all asked, "what are you guys doing over there? Is everyone that ignorant?? " I swear on my mother, that was the conversation every time!!! Just too convenient with what is happening in our world, here comes a beautiful "documentary" full of propaganda and misleading facts..
