Within the first 10 min I kept thinking to myself "please don't let me get an hour in and find out it's going to be the usual coming out of the closet gay movie" I didn't have to make it an hour and it already had me so bored that I came here to the reviews to wrench anything entertaining from this movie.. The subtle or should I say sneaky suggestive scenes of a naked man or a group of naked men.. The whole movie made no sense. There was nothing relatable about any of the characters which most might as well have not even been in the movie.. Cumberpatch is a great actor but this role did not fit whatsoever.. I made it through an hour and 30 min before I gave up on the whole movie before I fell asleep and found something better.. To me it was a bad attempt to knock off the feel of "There will be blood".. It didn't work..

Yeah the CG is the feel of Microsoft flight sim X but it's still better that the absolute absurdity of the movie Pearl Harbor. Never made it past 20 minutes of that move due to how ridiculous it looked and the physics of planes flying down streets below building levels. It was horribly done. The importance of telling these stories of men that actually experienced these battles should always be given what is best to tell their stories and experiences.. This one isn't that bad. It is funny the the rear gunner at least researched enough to pretend he was keying up his throat Mic most the time and the pilot not once.. That's why I love Tora Tora Tora Real planes and even the fake planes with built tangible props and almost actually killed a few people during the attack scenes. The flightline full of planes was full of stuntmen literally scrambling for their lives when the plane veered into the parked planes.. The Longest day is another great one.. This one so far isn't really too bad. Of course I am only 20 min in.

I was not even half way through the first episode and just couldn't watch it anymore. It was disgustingly convenient propaganda for this time right now and not an accurate representation of history. I knew Netlix had sold its soul but I was really hoping it would keep track with actual history and not history that was written by the victors.. The only redeeming quality I was hanging onto was some of the REAL footage that was was cleaned and upscaled. When I decided to walk away I was very happy to see that the majority seen exactly what I had seen. I've studied all wars but nothing more than ww2. I've been to German not as a tourist but a guest. Stayed at the Zum Turken and toured the berghof site in berchtesgaden. Went to Dachau in Munich.. I made sure engaged in conversation and more than I expected either were ww2 vets or close enough in age that they were children of ww2 vets. Unanimously it was always the same.. Malarkey!!! It's not what history has taught any of us. Even the younger generations would hear me speak English because again I was in Biberach. Not a tourist trap. They all asked, "what are you guys doing over there? Is everyone that ignorant?? " I swear on my mother, that was the conversation every time!!! Just too convenient with what is happening in our world, here comes a beautiful "documentary" full of propaganda and misleading facts..
