I thought this movie was FANTASTIC! It was everything I wanted it to be and it did a fantastic job at being a good video game adaptation. Going in I knew it would not be "exactly like the game" but it followed the story of it and got in very key/crucial moments while adding it's own other parts which sets it apart from the game while not straying too far. Very similar to "The Last of Us" TV show in the fact that it added it's own new spin while respecting the source material and having the key story inside. Overall mainly for the fans (critics give it bad reviews and not entirely sure why) and if you were there for the ORIGINAL game... Then you'll appreciate the movie we had all been waiting for! I know the mixed reviews can be miss leading but if you are in the mood for a good video game movie that is entertaining to watch, then you will most definitely want to watch!
