I was reluctant to watch the show as I don't really like cartoons all that much. I did when I was a kid, but not as an adult. To this day I haven't seen the Star Wars Animated series and I still havn't seen the old TOS Animated Series because of this. At the advice of a friend who encouraged me to watch it, I did, and I must say I was blown away by the animation quality, the acting and the writing. I look forward to season 2 when it comes and I hope that the new characters will be incorporated into future Star Trek series in the future. If you are in the same boat as me, give it a shot, I think you'll really like it.
