After two episodes of Obi-Wan I really have to say, Ewan McGregor is a way better actor than anyone at Disney is a director. They can’t even put together a decent chase scene. Both scenes where Leia is running away really hurt to watch. How many adults can slow run and bumble around and bump into things to let her get away a little farther? And here we are two episodes in and Obi-Wan is still finding himself, running from light saber battles. Would really like to see a confident Jedi master doing what he does best against believable enemies. There’s not many opportunities for a series like this, he is supposed to of been one of the best Jedi to ever exist and a third of the series is over and he has really done nothing. I’m sure we will get to the point and have some good battles, at least I hope. This really feels like Disney is squandering yet another amazing opportunity, at least so far.
