The end bit was just hilarious. The young lady produced a passport, in 1962, issued (swastikas all over) by the Deutches Reich. So a 17 year old passport, at youngest. So it had her current photo in it.
I think it likely that Germany got rid of Reich passports asap once Konrad Adenaur was Chancellor, suspect Allied Forces just issued I.D cards in 1945 in their zones.
