With all the big stars in this flick you'd think it would be worth your time. It's not. I like all of those stars but, that has to be the most boring poorly edited film I've seen in a long time. There was one scene I really enjoyed...the self driving cars. Otherwise I could have slept through this dud.

If you are from the original Star Trek flicks and TV....this one doesn't fit. It has more to do with social themes than exploring the universe and experiencing other lifeforms and the challenges faced. The characters are less than likeable for the most part. There is lots of violence and war. The Klingons speak Klingon so their time is all in subtitles and caps. It is taken down fast so the interactions between two characters physical actions are easily lost. I can see why it's not as popular...
