I was bored and this appeared on my NetFlix feed. Watching the trailer I wasn't that too impressed but thought to give the show a try. I was immediately struck by Tuesday's journal entry, on the train as she's running away, talking about Cyndi Lauper and how she ran away at 17 to make music. It caught my interest because Cyndi's "She's So Unusual" (1983) is part of my teenage/high school years. The moment I heard the melody for 'Loneliest Girl', then the collaboration of Carole and Tuesday to make that song, I was hooked. There are tropes and archetypes, but the music.... oh, the music. It hit me in such a way. I bought "Carole and Tuesday" vol 1. On the spot. I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes, as we know that they had seven minutes that changed Mars.
