Excellent movie. I was afraid that, like in most biographical movies, I wouldn't be able to look passed the actor playing the lead role. While I wouldn't put John Cusack up there with Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles, I thought he did a really good job as Brian Wilson. So did the guy who played the younger version of Brian. I have read and watched interviews with Eugene Landy and it was obvious he was a creep. I recommend this movie for all Beach Boys fans. Watching how Brian Wilson developed the sound was phenomenal.

A great movie with a great cast, most of whom were relatively unknowns at the time. It is definitely worth watching, again and again.

As a huge fan of The Strangers, I was hoping a sequel would be somewhat entertaining. However, I couldn't wait for the characters to die and wish all of them had.

This is one of my favorite movies. I love Meryl Streep and always thought PS Hoffman was a phenomenal actor. You won't find out what you're hoping to find out, but in the end, it doesn't matter.

As a huge fan of suspense/thriller/horror movies, I am surprised this movie didn't get better reviews. It started quickly and moved quickly and was one of the best horror movies I've seen. I hate "monsters", i.e. Jason, Freddy Kruger, etc which is one reason I found this one so scary- it could happen.

I love this movie. It's a remake of Dial M for Murder, but moves much faster and doesn't get bogged down in conversation like M does. Great cast and very well done. One of my go-to movies to watch on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

I have read and watched pretty much everything about Charles Manson and the family since writing about them in my high school term paper in 1992. You have to know the history of how Charles Manson got the members to follow him to really get the full effect of this movie. Although it showed some of the tactics he used, I would think that someone without prior knowledge of the "family" would wonder why Tex, Susan, Linda, Patricia, and Leslie killed for him. Not much is ever shown or written about Patricia Krenwinkle. I like that she was one of the main members shown in this movie. Overall, not a bad movie. I would love for there to be a miniseries on the making of the family that focused on each key member and how they wound up being such a devotee to Manson.

Awful! From the premise of Sharon Tate having a premonition of her murder storyline to the terrible acting, I couldn't make it all the way through this one. I have read and watched most everything about Charles Manson and key players in the Hinman/Tate/LaBianca murders since 1992, when I began researching Manson for my high school term paper. While I haven't been extremely impressed with any movie about Manson or the murders, this one ranks as one of the worst. No wonder Sharon's sister was so against this movie. Exploitative in so many ways. And again, the acting is about as good as a B rated made for TV movie.

Great movie. I hadn't heard of it, but saw it on Amazon Video. I like suspense, whodunit movies, and this one did not disappoint. Several "aha" moments that make you think you've figured it out, but you won't. Again, great movie.

Great movie. I laughed out loud in parts and I think Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams are underrated as actors. Both are phenomenal in this movie and their comedic timing is spot on.
