This film is a fresh and artistic take on human emotion and real stories experienced within the context of a physical domain. The walls of a home that have heard the trials and tribulations of people who resided in them is haunting, endearing and provokes thought and feeling all at the same time.
The walls of the home have a chance to talk in this poetic take of 3 separate stories at different points within a 50 year duration. The director's goal of having each story shot in a single 40 minute cut is brilliantly executed, and the actors' ability to capture all dialogue and overall presentation in a single cut is most impressive.
One downside however was that performances at certain points in the film were less convincing. It could have been more satisfying to see the actors delve deeper into the thought and emotion of the moment and absorb pauses to sustain the intensity of the dialogue better.
Overall a solid 4 out of 5 stars for me. :)
