This book is very derogative. It has no explanation of the positives within the first pages. All autistic children are different just because someone has autism does not mean there the same. you may think you know what autism "looks like." " In fact, though,
when you've met one person with autism you've met ONE person with autism. This book was not helpful to a child’s self esteem. Why are there cats to illustrate. We are all different. Some things are noticeable like our height, hair colour and some things are not. Glad I got to read the end of the book on the last few pages that actually make me feel that there is some positives.
