Having watched a lot of modern shows with ultra realistic graphic scenes, I feel like I did not experience the raw 'Threads' first time experience because I kept criticising most of the scenes wih sounds fading out making it feel more like a live theatre performance than a movie. However, the film starts strong and ends strong with no particular focus on a 'hero' or a 'heroine ' showing a particular focus on the effects of such an incident to an everyday person.

A fair balance of emotions and comedy. The plot beats the stereotypical Cinderella stories which mostly tolerate the 'Vanya' character. The transition between the final scene and the rolling of credits creates moments of tension which I think is because of the raw depiction of Anora who was mostly suppressed thought the movie.
