Movie Review: "Carry On"
"Carry On," featuring Jason Bateman, stumbles through a convoluted plot that feels more like a chaotic jumble than a cohesive narrative. From the outset, the timeline is a mess, with events unfolding in a manner that is not only confusing but also utterly implausible. Characters make decisions that defy logic, leaving viewers scratching their heads rather than engaged in the story. The sequence of events jumps around haphazardly, undermining any attempt at building tension or emotional investment. It often feels as if the writers threw realism out the window in favor of contrived situations that ultimately fall flat. Despite Bateman's charm, even he can't save this disjointed film from its own shortcomings, making "Carry On" a disappointing addition to the Netflix lineup that should have stayed on the cutting room floor.
