This is by far the most physically moving film I have ever watched. It was uncomfortable to sit through the film. The director and subject of the film does a remarkable job letting the viewer into his world that is actively being torn apart by Israeli military forces and illegal far right settlers in what was his family’s village and surrounding farmland.
It is gut wrenching, human, mundane, beautiful, and so difficult to watch all at the same time.
I can see why it has been censored by the conservatives in this country. It is too powerful a film. If more Americans could watch this, we would be unable to continue our part in supporting the genocide and apartheid of the Palestinian people.
I hope that more folks can see it for themselves. Feel what it is like to live in a West Bank village being subjugated and terrorized by Israel.
