I think this game is great. I picked it up on steam for 20 bucks and its worth every penny. I've seen a lot of people complain that it doesn't hold up to the original, thats its too silly. But really, how can you make an updated game about shape-shifting toads and make it serious? Here's the bottom line. This game goes from a beat 'em up, to mini-games, to time your jumps/movements and back again. All the while it seamlessly transitions in and out of cartoon cutscenes. The entirety of the game is funny and, aside from a couple levels, is better played couch co-op with friends. If youre on the fence about getting it, as I said 20 bucks is well worth it. If I had spent the 60 bucks at launch I'd have been disappointed. So if you're not sure, wait for a sale.
