Jesus Christ. If you care about your attention span, please do not see this movie. Genuinely the most boring film Ive ever seen, and I like almost every movie I’ve watched. The 5 star reviews must be ai generated. First of all, literally almost nothing happens. People die and the deaths are cool, but thats it!!! I couldnt tell when the climax was. I kept wondering when the backstory would end so that the movie would be interesting, but after the backstory, it was just more yap yap yap. How can you take the concept of that creepy monkey and turn it into something boring? So many people couldve made a cooler movie with this concept. I havent read the short story by King, but theres probably a reason it was a short story and not a 1 hr 30 min movie. Also, the dialogue is so bad. I dont even wanna get into it. I could tell this movie was trying to be artistic or unique, and it only succeeded in being unique (negative). I cannot believe I wasted my money on this poor excuse of a movie.
