Refugees come from wide ranges of class, caste and profession. There has been so many sri lankan tamil living in Canada since the 60s . Most of them were upper caste Sri Lanka who are doctors, engineers and many more. The ones who were involved in mafia and LTTE street gangs tend to be from dalit sri lankan tamils community
