I'm only about 50 pages into this book, and the kindest thing I can say about the writing is "pedestrian ". If he uses "of" instead of "have" ("...it must of.... might not of...") one more time, I'll give up.

What an absolutely destructive load of drivel. The book started with such great promise - an interesting and intriguing premise set in a world where girls and women have more physical power than men. I was so excited to see where the author would take us. But she took us nowhere. Through, I assume, laziness and lack of imagination, she simply reversed the roles. She took the ugliest characteristics of the least of men and imposed them on women, giving us female rapists, a female politician who cared more for money and power than her own daughter (and who becomes an ogling, arse-grabbing lech), male genital mutilation, pregnancy termination when the foetus is male - she came up with not one single new idea after the initial chapters. Misogyny at its ugliest. I'm ashamed and furious that this was written by a woman.
