If you are looking for a book that describes the development of rocketry in the USA from a technical and scientific viewpoint then don't bother with this book.
I found it a real struggle to read and didn't finish it. There are a few glimmers of technical detail that could have been summarised in less than 10 pages.
If you are interested in the private lives of the people involved, their politics, religion and who they went to visit then you might like it.
If you enjoy the above but fleshed out with tedious irrelevant detail then you'll love it.
