Garbage game, do not buy unless you support blatant Anti-Asian rhetoric. Remember, 99% of Japanese individuals have collectively spoke out about this game and how it is a misrepresentation of Japanese culture including the Prime Minster himself (look this up).
Beyond the entirety of Japanese continent hating this game, Ubisoft claimed it was "historically accurate" which was debunked and they retracted the statement soon after. Their reference of their history was a professor named Thomas Lockley who essentially falsified his research on the main protagonist "Yasuke", which was part of the controversy of this game.
Given Ubisoft had the opportunity to actually properly represent Japan's rich Samurai history, they decided to go with a DEI approach which replaced what would have been a first-time ever Asian-Male protagonist in a Ubisoft Assassin's Creed game, with a Black fictional character who (according to the dismantling of Thomas Lockley's false research) may have not actually been a real Black Samurai who existed.
What a great way to represent the Japanese population Ubisoft, by butchering it's history, plugging your own virtue signaling agenda, and despite your claim for "diversity", essentially excluded Asians from this game. Again, this game is widely hated by Japanese citizens and the Prime Minister himself has openly commented on how offensive it is to Japanese culture.
Talks of the Japanese Government actually suing Ubisoft may actually become a reality, and hope it happens. This game is garbage, hoping Ubisoft goes bankrupt after this.
