Another outstanding album from GBV. Unlike the previous Earth Man Blues, this one is a real sleeper album - requiring multiple listens for the entire sequence to "sink in". Once you've reached that point, you realize how strong the selection and sequencing of the tracks really is. 5/5 as it is an incredible work of art "I Share a Rhythm" and "The Bell Gets out of the Way" are two examples of the uniqueness of Robert Pollard's songwriting coupled with the solid musicianship of the current lineup. No other band would be able to emulate this music.

Solid selection and sequencing of tracks - proving that Bob's "throwaway" songs are better than most artists' best material. 5/5 already added it to my Spotify listening rotation Thank you Bob and crew for continuing to release incredible music that we cannot find anywhere else. One of a kind songwriting coupled with quality instrumentation and collaboration from the current band.
