Update: watch it twice. I watched it late Friday night and then Saturday with my daughter to remind her of what a heroine is. Women kicking a$$. My daughter loved it and I enjoyed it even more! Way to go, JLo. What a fun SiFi. I love SMITH.

What is happening! This movie is crazy out of control. There's about 20 minutes of good cinema and that's at the end. Writing was awful. The laughs come out of left field as a surprise or horrible punchline. Funny but a sad funny. Trying too hard. There are so many powerful characters with great comic timing such as the Valkyrie. They really could have given her better lines. Also when I see movies like this and I find myself just confused and having a lack of interest, it seems the let down is the editing. We don't care if the movie is 2 hours long, let the story play out! I really wanted this to be good. It just wasn't! I don't want to see Thor fight the Gods. I want to see Thor fight an X-Men!
