If I had known how similar this movie was to the 1999 movie “The Talented Mr. Ripley” starring Matt Damon, I would not have selected this movie to even watch. I usually enjoy watching psychological thrillers unless the major character is a sociopathic serial killer that is not held held accountable for his or her actions. That was the most obvious flaw in the plot development; the fact that he was never even questioned by the authorities, much less held accountable. I will never be able to understand the mind of a sociopath, and I never will. I regret the time I wasted even watching this movie. I’m sure that there are people who will love this movie, if they can get over the fact that it’s a little over two hours long. It’s just not what I enjoy watching. I think this movie will be very polarizing to most people. I gave “Saltburn” two stars instead of one. I base that on the strength of actors. 🍿🍿
