New Spin on dying from an alien attack in space. The Lifeform known as "Calvin" is found in specimens of sediment from a Mars probe. The doctor who awakens him forms a bond, but after an accident in the Lab, "Calvin" goes into a hibernation to protect himself. The doctor wanting to wake him gives him a series of small shocks and as they say "third times the charm". I was really rooting for Ryan Reynolds, but... Two pathways emerge here.. #1 - The Lifeform feeling threatened, does what he can to try to survive, while the crew is doing the same themselves. #2 - The question of what would "Calvin" have been, antagonist or protagonist, if left alone and nurtured properly. But we'll never know... Now, the sad part is, what you think the ending should be is turned around and around and finally... Just Watch the Movie, I was on edge of my seat. Enjoy!
