One of those series that are so bad you have to keep watching for the next howler. The plot is a sloppy version of what has been done in the past. The characters are stock and mostly cardboard cutouts. Quality of acting is pretty patchy. The continuity errors are worth watching for. The most obvious being the train loses its pantograph after leaving Carlisle only for a short time after there is a long shot of the train with its pantograph raised! And the biggest howler the series is called night sleeper!!! Finished watching the whole mess. What an earth was the BBC doing broadcasting this complete rubbish. Not just rubbish but corny rubbish with nothing new to say.
