I think the french dispatch is some of Wes Anderson's best work to date. I strongly believe it will stand the test if time and age extremely well just as his other work does. It is timeless while at the same time being very modern.
Not all vignettes are of the same quality and you may prefer one story over another. It is surely a movie that some may consider to be all over the place but each story is connected through the magazine "The French Dispatch" which each story is contained within.
The Film is itself a love letter to a bygone age when writers from different backgrounds and styles working together under the eigis of one magazine, a time we may never see again but a beautiful movie all in all.
