I am a die hard peanuts fan. I couldn't WAIT for this movie to come out. We took the whole family to see it on day one. I was disappointed!!! I'm rating this 3 stars because of the 3D. What makes me MAD is because THERE'S NO ORIGINALLY in this movie. There's no storyline. The writers SUCK! This movie is a partially "chopped up version" of past peanuts stories. I could have written a better story than this!!! The kids could have at least made it to the next levels in school. Snoopy could have at least gotten married and had some little pups of his own with a two-story doghouse with a swimming pool and a pimped-out SUV. Instead of reliving the red barren, he could have been dealing with family matters and going off with his crazy imagination. Charlie Brown and crew could have been dealing with fears of growing up. Charlie Brown and Linus could have gone off to ROTC camp. Peppermint Patty and Lucy could have entered into a Miss America contest. It's a number of ideas "they" could have come up with to make the original characters come back to life and still be funny and laughable. AUGH!!!
