I don’t know what I watched, was this movie a metaphor for something? There was a demon or vampire ? The main protagonist I don’t even understand like what was she going for? The ending ummm 🤨 I don’t even know , I’m so confused. I guess I killed an hour with this. It was a slow burn but I wish more effort went into the script.

I want you to count how many five star reviews come from men And how many five star reviews come from women because even though a woman wrote this I don’t see how this catered to the representation of women trying to live to Idealic female standards. The producer and director is from France and I don’t know what she was trying to portray because what were you suppose to learn from this. I think she just wanted to make a film where guys would buy and she make money from it. Well she nailed it. Unfortunately One thing in the title that it says Substance Where is the substance Of the film. Maybe with splattered on the crowd towards the end. It was basically just to the male gaze for horror and nudity. And I am all for Gore. I don’t shy away for it. But I’m gonna be honest this was just kind of like porn shots for guys for horror.
