Space sweepers is a dazzling and very entertaining sci-fi movie made in Korea. The actors are familiar formulas and the plot is multifaceted. The dynamic visual effects of spaceships and fights is on a whole higher level. There is enough plot variations to keep one re-watching the movie several times. Within the movie is a love story, impersonal off world corporations, a mad scientist seeking to create paradise. But for a young mysterious child, the origins and the idea that a cute and innocent creature could capture the hearts of anyone who encounters her is a lovely play within a play. Chaplin would be proud that his inspiration of touching characters would translate to another genre and across the world into a magical team of artists!
