Bridgerton in a nutshell is far inferior compared to Vanity Fair or Sanditon. It is trashy, ott, ott acting and the ladies costumes appear to be made from cheap fabric bought as a job lot somewhere. The only visually rewarding aspect are the beautiful buildings of Bath and the lead male.
