Okrus The Prince

Og fan who had really high hopes, but it’s exactly the same as the first live action remake. The white washing isn’t as bad but definitely still there. The bending is super fake and unrealistic, seriously only zukos bending looks real and full of movement while everyone else poses stiff as a board while they mind control the elements somehow. The actors don’t know how to act, they’re just awkward kids, which is kinda the point cause they are kids, but they don’t feel like real kids or real people because their line delivery, choice of words and body language feels so unnatural. The worst part is the story is completely stripped bare, there’s absolutely no character development, character depth, story progression and they made women like suki helpless, weak and simping for any man they come across so that’s blatantly how they were targeting the game of thrones audience. They removed sokkas sexism that his entire development relies on cause “SeXiSm BaD!” But then turned around and made the women weak, helpless and stupid… If that isn’t sexism from the producers then I don’t know what is. The creators removed every single core the story had, like suki being a strong independent women who beat sokka into his character development. The characters are completely blank with no personality. The jokes just dont hit either, they’re awkward and not funny. It’s doomed like the weirdly Americanized Netflix death note remake… I can see why the original writer of avatar left so early in production.
