I believe this is a true and accurate account of life amongst these North Queensland aborigines, in the late 1800’s.
During the period he lived with semi wild aborigines, Carl Lumholtz reported every 3 months to my Great Grandfather on Herbertvale Station, on the lower Herbert River, west of Ingham.
Lumholtz’s accounts align with the experiences my forefathers reported.
Historical records like this book should be preserved because history is history!
