I rarely come across such a lousy movie. I hated Anne talking to the viewers, and frankly I did not like her character much. The story was so predictable even though the script tried to be cute. I fast forwarded just to make sure I wasn't wrong. At my age I don't have time to waste. I'm not a Jane Austen fan, but have seen several of the movies made from her books and enjoyed them. I'm not good at writing reviews, but just read the one and two starred reviews. Most of them explain much better why this movie missed the mark.
