If given only one choice, West Wing is the series I would take to a desert island. Every episode was meaningful, intelligent and character driven. Sorkin's dialog was concise but convincing in its advance of the story line. The cast was consistently excellent especially Martin Sheen and John Spencer. Stockard Channing as the First Lady brought intelligence and depth to her character every time she appeared. I watched this series many times and will continue to do so. Cannot give it a higher recommendation. It's the best!
