This show definitely felt like it hit home in many ways. Even though I haven't ever experienced what Toney had to go threw, I felt I could relate in many ways. This was an excellent show. I do wish the third and final season was a couple of more episodes, maybe at least 4 more. But I can understand why Ricky Gervais ended it. The ending episode I felt was done just right. It brought up the right emotions, it closed the show off but also left it open to your own interpretation. At the start of season 3 I wasn't sure how they he was going to end the show if he was going to kill him self or what. But with the profound way he ended it, I first thought sad thoughts but then they turned into happy ones. The open yet closed ending was just wonderful. I think I have only ever seen I think 3 of Ricky Gervais movies before watching After Life but now I definitely will be looking into his past towards more of his shows. He's a great actor and a great writer. The only thing I also have to say to Ricky Gervais is thank you for the effort and work you put into making this show. But also I do believe that in some movies a bit of the actors real personality shines threw, so hey if you really are depressed I really do hope you find a way to be happy in life. Please I do appreciate your work and you do bring so much joy into people's lifes. Sorry I do get depressed in life, I think we all do and I'm sure quite a few people can relate to wanting to kill them selfs. If you ever need someone to talk to well I'm here. I know thats weird sorry. You did an excellent job on this show and I look forward to seeing more of your shows. Hope your new years gets off to a good start and that it turns out to be a great one, if not at least not a half bad one. Oh one last thing this show brought out the same feelings as The pursuit of happiness and the movie seven pounds don't know why but I just felt like I had to mention it. Anyways take care and cheers.
