Please do yourself a huge favor and just ignore the negative reviews, especially from the ignorant critics that have no idea as to what they are even talking about... but apparently still feel the need to write a whole frivolous article on why this show sucks. I really don't understand for the life of me why people are denigrating NPS but I guess you can't please everyone. This drama miniseries is extremely riveting from beginning to end with an excellent all-star cast. It is incredibly well acted in addition to being full of beautiful, sensual and downright visually stunning cinematography that borders on being downright psychedelic. Surprisingly poignant, intelligent as well as thoughtful but also full of interesting twists and turns that keep you hooked to the point to where you can't help but wonder about what's going to happen next in total suspense. Just watch it instead of listening to what others have to say and make up your own mind.

For an independent, low-budget Grindhouse Horror/Mystery/Thriller film (that being New Zealand's first ever Horror film) with a mix of splatter, this actually was surprisingly pretty good! Not to mention, very entertaining and terribly underrated! The horror in this movie is rather visceral as well as daunting, and no holds barred. Check it out
